We process personal data for the duration necessary for the respective purpose or purposes. In the case of longer retention obligations due to statutory or other obligations to which we are subject, we restrict processing accordingly.

Each time transferly.swiss is accessed, the web server automatically stores a log file documenting, for example, the name of the URL accessed, the visitor’s IP address, the date and time of access, the browser used, the volume of data transferred, the HTTP status code, and the requesting provider.
In addition, on each visit, provided visitors have given their consent via the cookie settings, anonymized visitor data such as the date and time of access, origin, device, device type, operating system, browser, screen resolution, etc. is stored in the self-hosted open-source web analytics service Matomo.

transferly.swiss has commissioned Flow Swiss AG, Dufourstrasse 49, CH-8008 Zurich, within the framework of hosting services for the presentation, support, and operation of its service. Flow Swiss AG is an ISO-27001 certified cloud provider that stores all data in Switzerland in certified data centers. - Collection and use of data
Personal data is collected and used only in the following cases:- When visiting our website or using our services by means of server logs, usage statistics, and web analytics
- When registering or logging in on our website
- When ordering paid services and their billing
- When sending and requesting data, provided the user is logged in
- In automated abuse detection
- When making contact or reporting abuse
- For newsletter and informational mailings
- In connection with paid services, the following additional data may be collected: company name, billing contact (first name, last name, email), billing address, VAT ID, payment information.
3. Security Measures
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures in accordance with the legal requirements, taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs, and the nature, scope, circumstances, and purposes of the processing, as well as the varying likelihood and severity of risks to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in order to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk.
4. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
- Hosting services
transferly.swiss has commissioned Flow Swiss AG, Dufourstrasse 49, CH-8008 Zurich, within the framework of hosting services for the presentation, support, and operation of its service. Flow Swiss AG is an ISO-27001 certified cloud provider that stores all data in Switzerland in certified data centers. - Payment providers
For payment processing of paid services by credit card, the third-party provider Stripe Inc., 510 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94103, USA, is used. Only the personal data necessary for payment processing and invoicing is transmitted. - Two-factor authentication (2FA)
For two-factor authentication, SMS messages are sent, among other things. In this context, the mobile telephone number of the affected persons is transmitted to Twilio Inc., 101 Spear Street, 1st Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. - Identity verification
For the optional identification of persons by means of an officially issued identification document and a facial image, the third-party provider Stripe Inc., 510 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94103, USA, is used. - Captcha verification
This website uses Friendly Captcha, a proof-of-work-based, privacy-friendly, and fully GDPR-compliant solution to block spam or abuse.
Friendly Captcha generates a unique crypto puzzle for each user, which is solved fully automatically in the user’s browser without storing their personal data.

For the purpose of validating VAT IDs, data may be transmitted to external services, in particular to the European Union’s VAT Information Exchange System (VIES). Only the data required for validation is transmitted.
5. Newsletter and Online Marketing
When a user registers on transferly.swiss, they automatically consent to receiving newsletters and online marketing emails (approx. twice per month). Unsubscribing from these emails is possible at any time via the link in the email. A renewed subscription can be made via the contact option described in the imprint or via the customer portal.
6. Cookies
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products, or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages, among other things.

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open-source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. Matomo uses so-called cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is stored on a server in Switzerland.
The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before being stored. You have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software. Please note that, if you do so, not all functions of this website may be available.

10. Right to Object
Where personal data with a connection to the European Union (EU) is processed pursuant to Art. 3 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, there is a right, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the processing of such data where grounds relating to the particular situation of the data subject exist or where the objection is directed against direct marketing measures. In the latter case, you have the option at any time to object to the use of your data for marketing purposes (newsletter) with effect for the future.
11. Retention Period and Deletion
We retain personal data for as long as the data subject gives us their consent, as long as it is necessary for handling the relevant legal relationship, and/or as long as it is required by law. Thereafter, the personal data is deleted in the best technically possible and adequate manner.
Billing-related and tax-relevant data, in particular VAT IDs and their validation status, may be stored within the framework of statutory retention obligations. This data may also be used to fulfil evidentiary obligations towards tax authorities.
